Message for U.S. Citizens: Absence of Consular Agent in Victoria, Seychelles starting November 18, 2022.

Dear U.S. Citizens,

Starting November 18, 2022, a Consular Agent will no longer be present at the United States Consular Agency in Victoria.  The U.S. Embassy in Port Louis, Mauritius, is committed to providing regular and comprehensive consular services in Seychelles.  Embassy personnel will continue to provide in-person services to U.S. citizens in Victoria via periodic visits – the next visit is tentatively planned for FEBRUARY 6, 2023.  The dates for consular visits to Victoria will be announced via email to American citizens enrolled in the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP), on the Embassy’s website, and via social media.

U.S. citizens in need of consular services such as passport renewals, notarial services, and Consular Reports of Birth Abroad are urged to make an appointment before November 18, 2022 by emailing conagencyseychelles@state.gov.  Check your passport validity now and renew in time!

Additionally, after November 18, 2022, U.S. citizens may access all regular and emergency consular services at the Embassy in Port Louis by telephoning (+230-202-4400) or emailing ptlconsular@state.gov.
