July 4th celebrations: Culinary exchange program

Lexia Hin Chan, founder of Lexia Delices – Cake & Wedding Designer in Mauritius, and Angela Garbacz, chef and owner of Goldenrod Pastries in Nebraska, participated in a culinary exchange program with the U.S. Embassy as part of the celebrations for July 4th!

Together, the two pastry chefs and successful women entrepreneurs baked some red velvet cupcakes, one of the most popular desserts enjoyed by Americans during the U.S. Independence Day celebrations, and talked about the challenges of owning a business in a global pandemic.
